We post a parenting Thought-of-the-Week, pics from our activities, and update you on what’s going on for kids at the Library! Wednesday’s Storytime session is full! A few openings for Tuesday’s Storytime and Thursday’s Toddletime remain! Now’s the time to register for the spring sessions of Storytime & Toddletime! Storytime is for children ages 3 – 6 while Toddletime is for 18 – 36 month old children. If your little one will be between 18 months & 6 years by March 4th, sign-up today! The regular meeting of the genealogy group is scheduled for Thursday, April 8, at 1 p.m. Call the Library for further information 775-2681. Note: This is a change from the regular schedule due to the Easter holiday.
The next meeting of the Brown Baggers discussion group will be at 12 Noon on April 12. The group will be discussing The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. Anyone interested in joining this discussion can obtain a book by calling either Carol or Cecilia at the library.
The Friends will meet on April 12, 2010 at 1PM in the Community Room. Everyone is invited to attend! Call 775-2681 for additional information.
Ultra Basic Computer Skills class is being offered on Tuesday, May 4. Call the Library to make a reservation. Classes are small and space is limited. 775-2681. In the event of extreme weather conditions or other emergencies, the Library Director will determine whether the Library will close early. The Augusta Public Library in Augusta, Kansas will automatically open at noon when USD 402 is closed for inclement weather.
