SUMMER READING CLUB 2011!

Our Kid’s Summer Reading Club was a tremendous success thanks to so many people.  We had a record number of children enroll and,most importantly,meet their goals this year!  I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude to the many people &organizations that made our 2011 Club possible:

THANK YOU!   …to the teens who participated in our VOLUNTEENS program:  Claire Daniels (50 hours),Tori Gilmore (35.5),Olivia Cox (35),Taylor Childers (26),Libby Korthals (21),Jessica Runyan (15.5),Ashlie Clark (15),Patrick Bruce (14.5),Lydia Ehrmann (14.5),Jordan Spellman (10.5),&Nick Heater (4.5).  Your contribution of a portion of your super-valuable summer vacation to assist so many area kids is appreciated much,much more than you can know…we simply could not do what we do without you!

THANK YOU!   …to the staff of Augusta Public Library especially Pam Turner,Kris Hamilton,and Liz Peterson.  Without your commitment and hard work our library could not offer the variety and sheer number of programs we do.  I truly appreciate every minute of the work,support,and friendship you bring with you every day!
