Ongoing Adult Programs:
- Spring and Fall Book TALK discussions led by Kansas Humanities Council speakers
- Genealogy group–1st Thursdays at 1 p.m. Sept. through Nov. and Jan. through May
- Brown Bag book discussion group–2nd Mondays at 12 p.m.
- Adult Summer Reading Program–June and July
- Free Computer Classes–Tuesday,6PM–Call to make your reservation!
- Class Movie Matinee–3rd Tuesday of month at 2 p.m.
Brown Bag discussion group–Titles are chosen monthly and provided through Interlibrary Loan to members (although sharing may be required). We discuss mostly fiction from a variety of genres,but occasionally also discuss non-fiction and classic. Call the Library for more information or to sign up. New members are always welcome.
Genealogy group–The Genealogy groups meets to discuss and share member’s research and genealogical research techniques, listen to speakers,go on field trips and workshops. Call the Library for questions or drop in to a regular meeting. 775-2681
If you would like to volunteer to help us record obituaries,anniversaries,births,and marriages from the Augusta newspapers from the present back to the 1800′s give a call or come in and talk to us. Call the Library for further details.

Book Talks–These are co-sponsored by the library and the Kansas Humanities Council. A fall series and a spring series of books on a given theme are discussed during each session. Watch for flyers in the library or postings on this site for more information.
